Classic pastrami sandwich, but with turkey!
INGREDIENTS:
- 100 g Sliced turkey Pastrami
- 2 slices of seeded loaf
- Lamb’s lettuce, rocket, spinach or your preferred salad leaves
- 2 slices of Gouda cheese
- Honey mustard, or to taste
- 2 or 3 large sweet pickled gherkins
METHOD:
Spread the mustard on a slice of bread, without going overboard with the amount. Mayonnaise or any other type of mustard can also be used. Add the Pastrami slices on top of the mustard, giving them a little volume, until they are about a centimetre thick. Add the lamb’s lettuce, rocket, spinach or your preferred salad leaves and the thickly cut sliced gherkins. Top with the cheese then grill the sandwich. * The bread can also be toasted beforehand if preferred.
